Midterm Ideas

The midterm project is here, so that means brainstorming ideas! I absolutely adore animatromics and how they work. I enjoy seeing videos of people restoring animatronics from old bands like Showbiz Pizza's Rockafire Explosion. I wanted to create an interactive animatronic head with moving eyes and mouth.

While exploring my options I came across this example of someone using a servo motor to move the eyes that's triggered by what looked like a movement sensor or maybe even a light sensor. I'd definitely like to be able have a microphone inside the head to detect someone talking to it and maybe it can play it back or even respond to the person.
